Why Does My Son’s Father Harass Me?

Why does my son’s father continue to harass me if he doesn’t care about me?

Dear Mom,

I think this answer is as old as time. He does care about you, although it may not be in the way that it used to “look like.” But if he is bothering at all to make your life miserable, he cares and he probably is furious with himself that he does. So my point here is, you can’t judge your son’s father by his words (as bitter as they may be sometimes), but judge him based on his actions.
