Dear GirlShrink,
My girlfriend of 4 years is not attracted to me, our sex life is dead. She dreams and thinks about other men and has been thinking of a ex of several years ago. She says that she loves me and wants us to be together ,it’s just a different kind of love……I’m confused I knew things weren’t quite right in our relationship and had hoped in time things would change back to the way they were…she assured me that it was her not me for the way things are…..Gee what do you think of that?

There’s a BIG problem. She probably knows what it is but isn’t saying. I can’t tell you for sure, because it could be a million things, but there is something going on other than she is “bored”. I would want to know more about what “this different kind of love” is all about and make some decisions on whether that is the type of love you want and/or need in your life today.

she thinks and dreams of other men? you really need to make her define what the other kind of love she has for you is, and decide what you wants from her
