I have been dating this guy for two weeks and on Thursday he found out that he will be on call 24/7 for this heart team thru the hospital that he works for. Well i live 45 min away so that stops him from coming to my house anymore. That same day he found out that his daughter has either pneumonia or the whooping cough. I talked to him at lunch time on friday and at 9pm that night as well. I tried to call him and txt him on Saturday but I have not heard anything from him. I tried to txt him three times today and called him once. What should I do? Is it over? Does he not want to be with me? I don’t understand what I have done wrong? Please help me.

Hi Leann,
Looks like your guy is really busy. Between work and his sick daughter, I think he has a fair excuse for not talking to you every single day. Which leads me to you — there is no reason for you to have to talk to this man every single day. Text him everyday. Sheesh! Give him a chance to miss you, and allow him the opportunity to “court you”.Finally – I can’t say if anything is over, because you’ve only been dating him for two weeks. But given the fact that he has all this drama going on in his life – and you are still calling him everyday – you may have scared him off or at the very least annoyed him.
My advice to you is to take a step back and give him a little space. He will call when is ready. In the meantime, find something else to focus on, and keep meeting new people. Don’t wait on him.
