I need adivce, My boyfriend and I have been together for two years. He left me and moved back to N.C, when he received a settlement for fifty thousand dollars. He also found out his sons mom was divorced.
We were still together after he moved, And even got engaged. I went to see him and he didn’t act the same, his ex father in law came over and told me to hide. He told me that I looked high and he was ashamed of me. Which when I hurt I He works but never takes me out,he is always asking money from me, never pays me back. Even in bed he doesn’t even satisfy me, He says I’ll take care did get high to cover the pain. He called off the engagement and two weeks later sarted seeing another girl. Two months with that girl he calls and wants to move back and get back together, he had no money left.
I have been doing real good for the past seven months, and he still doesn’t do anything for me. He pays for nothing, ask me for money and doesn’t pay me back. But does everyone else. Doesn’t satisfy me in bed, tells me he’ll take care of me later. Never happens. I pitch a fit but all he does is make it my fault. What do I do to get him yo act different? To have some respect for me?
Dear No Respect,
This guy has no respect for you because you don’t demand it by words or by actions. You do whatever and provide whatever he says or needs. That is not someone worthy of respect – that is a doormat. Get some backbone, build a life independent of him, DO NOT give him any money, and let’s see what becomes of your relationship from that point forward.
